One Meal At a Time

ElderCare administers the Friendship Meals program in a 28-county area of southwest Kansas. Thirty seven participating communities serve meals five days per week. In this area, 47% of the meals served are delivered to homebound individuals and 53% are served to customers at community dining sites. In addition to providing meals, other services available include nutrition risk screening, nutrition education, health and promotion programs, and nutrition counseling.
